Michael A. Kornbluth - Managing Partner

Mr. Kornbluth graduated with Honors from George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Mr. Kornbluth served on The Public Contract Law Journal and was the Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Mr. Kornbluth interned for Judge Thomas F. Hogan of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Michael practices law throughout North Carolina and is admitted to practice in U.S District Court in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in numerous courts. Mr. Kornbluth’s main areas of focus are Employment Law, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and general Civil Litigation.

Mr. Kornbluth is a past Chair of the Employment Law Section of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. In 2012 and 2014, Michael contributed as a chapter editor for the North Carolina Prima Facie Tort Manual.  He edited chapters on Alienation of Affections (Chapter 3) and Seduction (Chapter 25).

Mr. Kornbluth enjoys lecturing and most recently lectured in February at the North Carolina Advocates for Justice 2013 Employment Law Seminar.  The lecture was entitled "Settling Cases: It Isn't Just About the Number."

He is also a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
