Michael Kornbluth - Partner
Mr. Kornbluth graduated with Honors from George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C. While in law school, Mr. Kornbluth served on The Public Contract Law Journal and was the Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Mr. Kornbluth also interned for Judge Thomas F. Hogan of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Michael practices law throughout North Carolina in State and Federal Court and is admitted to practice in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in numerous courts.
Mr. Kornbluth’s main areas of focus are Personal Injury, Employment Law, Workers Compensation, and Civil Litigation.
Mr. Kornbluth is currently the Chair of the Employment Law Section of the North Carolina Advocates of Justice. He is also a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Michael enjoys golf, baseball, and crossword puzzles.
Anthony (Tony) Taibi - Partner
Mr. Taibi graduated first in his class with Highest Honors from Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. While in law school, was Article Editor of the Duke Law Journal. Mr. Taibi received awards for the Most Effective Advocate Award for Trial Practice and also a member of the Appellate Moot Court Competition Board.
After law school, Mr. Taibi was clerk to the late Judge Francis D. Murnaghan, Jr. United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Taibi has successfully prosecuted and tried numerous commercial, malpractice, unfair trade practice, consumer and personal injury cases. Mr. Taibi has a special interest in class actions and mass consumer torts initiatives.
Mr. Taibi is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Tony currently enjoys photography, hiking, reading and scuba diving.
